Antique and Vintage publications
We found these collectible Norwegian books in our "accumulation" after they had rested there for over 50 years. Some were published in the US in the Norwegian language, and some undoubtledly were brought from Norway by our immigrant ancestors.

Hans Nielsen Hauge's Udvalgte Skrifter -- $34.00

Hardcover book in Norwegian language
Title Page indicates 2det Oplag, Kristiania, Forlagt af L. M. Berntzen, 1900; Forward dated Christiania, September 1899

The cover is frayed at the corners and has some stained spots. The pages show some foxing, but the binding is still tight and intact. It measures about 5 5/8 x 7 5/8 inches, approx.3/4 inch thick, with 406 pages.
The cover is blue-gray, with gold-colored embossed printing, as is the spine. There is green as well as gold in the fancy foliage embossed design in the upper left part of the front cover. The initials L.M.B. (presumably for L. M. Berntzen Publishers) are embossed in the back cover. There is no dustjacket.

Norsk Grammatik -- $34.00

Norsk Grammatik is a Norwegian grammar book, written in Norwegian for the study of Norwegian grammar, a 256-page book with a brown hardcover and gold-colored cover printing. There is no dustjacket.
