My 1955-57 vintage brunette Vogue Ginny Doll MLW (molded lash walker) with straight legs has lots of clothes, several hats, shoes, a purse, and other accessories. If you have looked at this page before, you may recall that I included 15 items of clothing and accessories as "Lot 1." I have now separated them in order to be able to lower the price points.PLEASE NOTE THAT ALTHOUGH SOME OF THE IMAGES SHOW GINNY WEARING THE CLOTHES, THE DOLL IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICES

"Vogue Dolls, Inc." red coat and cap with shoes and handbag
Ginny is a pretty sight in her "Vogue Dolls, Inc." labelled red coat with a snap closure and white lace trim. The elastic chin strap on her matching red cap has gotten stretched out over the years, but the cap still looks great on her. She wears red shoes and carries her white handbag (with the word "Ginny" written on the front).

Red Summer Gown and Straw Hat
I thought Ginny looked like Scarlett O'Hara in "Gone With The Wind" in her beautiful red sleeveless floor-length (organdy?) summer gown. There is no label; the dress has a hook and eye closure, and a matching red petticoat. It might be from the 1956 Debs series, but I'm not sure. The jaunty red, wide-brimmed straw hat tops off the outfit.

School outfit with Tam O'Shanter cap
For school, Ginny had the most marvelous Tam O'Shanter cap to wear with her favorite school dress. This dress, which uses a hook and eye closure, has a red knit top and a plaid pleated skirt. There is no label, but I wonder if this is the original "Merry Muppets Schoolgirl Outfit" that may identify my Ginny as a 1955 #36. I'm not real clear about the distinction between the numbering of the dolls vs. the outfits.

Blue peignoir, pink rubber curler
for bedtime, Ginny had an elegant and pretty peignoir, sheer blue with white flocking, trimmed in white lace and tied at the neck with a pink ribbon. This appears to be the same one pictured in the catalog showing the Bridal Trousseau #62 from 1955, but I think it must have been sold separately later, as I don't have the whole trousseau. Oh, yes, I do have one little pink rubber curler for her hair!
