Ginny Lot 3

the Medford Assortment -- 3 outfits with "Medford" labels, plus one "Alexander-kins" outfit
BONUS: Straw hat and tiny "Cook Book" included

I understand that outfits with the word "Medford" on the labels pre-dated the labels that simply said "Vogue Dolls, Inc." Three of the outfits included in Lot 3 have the "Medford" label. The pinafore outfit is stained (see image below) but all in all, they are in very good condition for being over 50 years old and having been played with for many, many hours. If sold individually, the items would add up to over $200 in value, but they are available as a lot for $150.

It's worth buying Lot 3 just for the darling straw hat and the little cookbook! I can't imagine how these little items survived all these years. No, the "Cook Book" doesn't open or contain real recipes -- it is only about 3/4 inch wide and 1 inch high.

This "Medford Assortment" lot includes:

• one Alexander-kins outfit (with a solid blue skirt, matching panties, and flowered top with white background; it fastens with 2 snaps);

  

• one outfit I believe is the 1955 Tiny Miss #44 outfit, with hook and eye closure, a (cotton?) dress with a tiny brown/green/blue/white print, with matching panties and an attached white pinafore apron (with brown stains, unfortunately -- you can see this on the image below, mainly on the pinafore near the left edge of the skirt).

  

• one outfit I think is the KinderCrowd pink/green/white outfit, with label saying "Vogue Dolls, Inc. Medford";

  

• a sleeveless pink gingham outfit with tie closure (only 1 tie remains, however);
