Used vintage collectible 45 RPM phonograph records

Vintage 45RPM Phonograph Records In the 1950's the 45RPM record became the teen-age equivalent to today's iPod. It allowed us to collect the recordings of our favorite pop singers as well as film soundtracks, etc. at a reasonable price. When friends got together we could play these records for hours, and those of us who were organized enough had binders we used to catalog and store the records neatly in an upright position (the binders looked somewhat like a photograph album but had sleeves in which to insert the records).Unfortunately for later collectors, the habit of storing our 45's in catalog form in a binder resulted in the destruction of most of the original sleeves. In our case, unless otherwise noted the records we list do not have the original sleeves. There are some happy exceptions, especially where we have multiple-record sets, such as the Jane Russell/Marilyn Monroe 2-record set taken from the sound track of "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes."
Most of these records have been in storage for upwards of 40 years. Other than the usual wear and tear one would expect of records used frequently for a few years, they are in very good condition, with only minor abrasions on the covers. As far as I know the records have no scratches that would affect playback (but I have not tried them). I have not tried to clean them, but most have been in a fairly dust-free environment away from excessive heat and humidity.
