Imagine -- with the advent of the Long Play (or "LP") vinyl album, it was possible to play several songs without turning over the record! What a treat to ignore the phonograph for up to 20 minutes at a time while enjoying the popular music of your favorite singer, group, or orchestra. Constant improvements were made, too, through the 1960's and 70's -- Hi-Fidelity, then Stereo, each step resulting in more realistic reproductions of the sound.These LP record albums were enjoyed for quite a few years, before tape recordings started to take over our world, followed by CD's and now the iPod. Into storage they went, only to emerge when we moved to a townhouse and decided to downsize once and for all.
They have been stored in a vertical position, without exposure to excessive temperature changes or humidity. We believe they are in good to very good used condition unless otherwise noted, with some cover abrasions appropriate to having been played and then stored for a long time.
